It has a plastic carborator that clogs constantly. I've cleaned the jets and it runs for half my (very small) city yard and dies. There are tons of videos of this same issue on you tube. This is a rugged, smaller mower perfect for small trimming after mowing with a tractor. I have very steep hills on my property, this mower works great on them. The lawn mower starts and runs very well. The best feature of the mower are the adjustable wheels that adjust the height of the lawn mower. I am tall (6'8) and this is the best lawn mower that I have purchased due to the variable height adjustment. Starts easy every time! And, after all these years, it still runs like it is only one year old. It is so reliable, I probably will not have to purchase a new mower in my lifetime. All I do is change the oil, spark plug, and air filter annually. The lawnmower blade is changed twice a year, halfway through the season. I have replaced the wheels this year.
