The two main characteristics are the sharp attack, much harsh, and the lows emphasis. It is a good solution, perhaps more for a newbie than for an expert guitarist, for the rhythmic riffs, above all. During this review we will see that this Boss pedal makes a good job, as regards the signal, certainly aggressive and violent, but with some problems. A large part of the final result depends on these two controls. As regards the original signal it must be modified on the guitar, so we can consider this knob a sort of control for the mix between the two sounds. It recreates the atmosphere of a 7-string guitar, or of a tuning in Drop. It is much efficient. They are much instructive and interesting, but, obviously, the final effect depends on too many factors, so we can consider them just some examples or, if we want, a good starting point. In my opinion it can be a good choice only for what ends with Core. Nothing more. http://lazartschool.ru/pic/boss-phaser-ph-3-manual.xml

For Metal i prefer, certainly, the MT-2. For other genres the ML-2 is completely unusable. Moreover, in some situations, it is too much metallic, cold and without a soul. As regards the price, about 100 euros, it can be good, if you are looking for a product with these characteristics. Besides, up to the 70 of the Gain, it is silent, and adds a very pleasant sustain. MT-2 Metal Zone Music Pedal pdf manual download. The MT-2 Metal Zone is one of BOSS' most popular pedals. This stompbox provides some of the most over-the-top, insane distortion tones in the world—with Thank you for purchasing the BOSS MT-2 Metal LEVEi EquiaitzER Dist. Zone. To make the best use of the MT-2, please () c?) read the instructions carefully.Reload to refresh your session. Reload to refresh your session. Subscribe to our free newsletter There are several pedal out there that do a decent metal tone for a pedal but this really isn't one of them. I do have to say that pedal is leaps and bounds over the Boss Heavy Metal pedal that was their first attempt and metal. ML-2: Metal Core Extreme Metal in a Compact Pedal Features With its extreme gain, the ML-2 is the most potent and heavy distortion pedal ever created by BOSS. It easily delivers massive distortion and gain with heavy lows for playing Nu Metal, Grind Core, Industrial, Hard Core, or any genre that requires crushing sound. It has four control knobs that interact withing the tonal range. The EQ knobs are a bit different than the Metal Zone in that they are more Mids focused I feel. I am more pleased with the tonal dynamics of this pedal tremendously more than the Heavy Metal pedal they did years ago. This one isn't as thin or metallic sounding as the Heavy Metal but still sounds brittle overall which is hard to get away from with most Boss pedals. SOUND QUALITY Try to keep the Dist knob down or around the 12:00 position because there is a ton of gain on tap and the more you increase it the more is becomes muddy and messy. http://agrithai1999.com/piceditor/boss-pitch-shifter-manual.xml

As a general rule with this pedal, keep all control knobs around the noon position. Everything else seems to go too far in one direction or another. Try this pedal with a Les Paul and a Marshall JCM 800 and it will get a good boost in a clean type setting. The EQ boosting capabilities especially in the midrange part is great. OVERALL OPINION This is a pretty inexpensive pedal that will get you a decent starter metal tone. Your not going to get this pedal on any professional stage. This is for someone looking to get into the guitar and needs a cheap metal tone. Not going to break the bank but not going to be your final destination. If you can afford it and don't want to buy a metal amp then try out a Zvex Metal pedal. That pedal is pretty nice. View price information Did you find this review helpful? yes no. This isn't a rack mountable unit as it is a foot pedal. UTILIZATION Using the Boss ML-2 Metal Core isn't hard at all as it only has some basic parameters. This is the newer version of some of the older Metal related Boss pedals, so it has a very similar make up. If you have used any type of distortion pedal I think you'll be able to understand how to use this pedal without any problems. The pedal simply has four parameters - level, low, high, and distortion. These are always the basic parameters found on overdrive and distortion pedals, so unless you are an absolute beginner I don't think you will need to study this one too hard or even look at a manual. SOUND QUALITY The sound quality of the Boss ML-2 Metal Core is sub par in my opinion. While it does have a decent metal distortion, there is really only one sound that you can get with it. Keep in mind that I'm not a huge fan of metal to begin with but tried out this pedal to see what types of tones I could get with it. I've used the pedal with a Gibson SG and a '76 Fender Twin Reverb, so I think I'm getting a pretty accurate sound from this pedal. http://www.drupalitalia.org/node/72058

If you are into metal and are looking to get a thick distortion sound for playing this type of music, I wouldn't pass this pedal by, but I can't say that I would recommend this pedal to anyone else based on the sound of it. OVERALL OPINION While this pedal is reasonably priced, the fact that I can really only get a single tone from the Boss ML-2 Metal Core makes it quite unappealing for me. If you are trying to get a big metal sound, this pedal might do the trick for you but I would strongly encourage those interested to look into a variety of distortion pedals as there are a lot of them out there to choose from. SOUND QUALITY Sound pretty good.I for one have a heavier traditional style. I think that what it lacks something in the pedal. OVERALL OPINION I use this pedal for 7 years.I not really recommend. It can jump in with both feet without problem, it's tough like all the Boss. UTILIZATION One branch and it works. (Of course, must be activated.Tested with an Ibanez JS 1000. Amateur Ballroom muzet, go your way here because we speak the pure metal and other trash. The sound is purely demonic, strapped with acute but not garish at all (can be linked with the lamps of Vox, I do not guarantee the same result on a combo analog) The bass is overpowering and settings also terribly effective, the his remains accurate if you do not push too low (otherwise it is the membrane that falls. HP) nival the saturation is very high (note the feedback when the distortion is at bottom.), for my I share the rule around 14h and 11h of the volume goshawks because remember that saturate the lamps too, with this setting, all I can do in terms of big big modern sound (Even the Kerry King.) Big surprise, the total absence of parasites and other bzzzzzz or vrrrrrrr and no noise gate of course. https://energijaprirode.com/images/boss-me8-manual-espa-ol.pdf

(I read the other testers and I realize that many complain about noise, I think their systems and connectors are responsible for this result because for me it is the total silence with the settings mentioned above, also noted in that I use for Monster cables, specifically the jazz and I also use an MXR DC Brick for power.) Another big surprise, the pedal responded in ways surprising volume knob of the guitar, you'd think of germanium?? The knob has small volume, we obtain an almost clear foil, very melodic and surprising, I love anyway OVERALL OPINION It's been two years already.Unless you want to also play with the Jazz. Hmm. 6 of 6 people found this review helpful View price information Did you find this review helpful? yes no. The manual suggests some adjustments. SOUND QUALITY Be careful, once you push the distortion, ca sends direct timber. However, after a year of use, I tell myself that nothing beats the distortion of the amp (coupled with an overdrive for example). Edit the pedals for a particular type of zik, glucose is a bit I think. I use it with an Aerodyne Telecaster, Engl Screamer on. Of breath, rather vague, despite the tone controls. So may be that with active pickups it sounds better, at least personal, with hindsight, I can do without this pedal. A pedal correct, but not essential. 2 of 4 people found this review helpful View price information Did you find this review helpful? yes no. The technology is analog. The edition is the simplest, it is no worse: no brainer. UTILIZATION Very simple configuration, no need for manual, there is the sound that matches the type very quickly. Manuel not even open to the views of the simplicity of the beast. If you are looking for something else, I think you'll be disappointed, it's a distortion that is not very versatile, but it's not what I wanted. https://diagonal.org.ar/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/162733766a9b3f---briggs-stratton-10-hp-engine-owners-manual.pdf

OVERALL OPINION I use it for a year now, finally, in great part, because I'm not a guitarist, but I had the opportunity to buy this pedal at a very low price, I jumped on it, and the advantage is that I can always have something to plug my scratch when they have problems with their stuff. I have not personally tested other things, except in software, and there it is above. I use this pedal to make preprod, let me explain: I passed the guitar to the pedal, then I plug the pedal directly to the line input of the soundcard. In short, to save plug and play solution is ideal for the metalcore. When I want to record over itself again, I leave my microphones and amplifiers for guitarists, but it takes a lot of time in installing, positioning, and a lot of headaches. While there, it's just too easy. Yes, I would do if I have choices to make preprod for my group or a big need, for now I still think that this pedal I will have some time! 2 of 2 people found this review helpful View price information Did you find this review helpful? yes no SOUND QUALITY then, my opinion will be mixed. I first plugged in my VOX lil'train and there. So, I try in my Blackstar HT5, and, BIM, full ears.I tried E, drop D, drop C, drop B, anything goes (within the limits of the amp) It took place in my pedalboard next to my Metal zone (much heavier) by offering me a range of sounds that I was not with the metalzone or distortion of the amp. I note, therefore, correctly assuming that the pedal is intended for fans of modern sounds OVERALL OPINION I've had 3 months. Its a modern, especially the lack of adjustable limit the medium option, which accommodates many a modern amp. To avoid unpleasant surprises, try it with your hardware. UTILIZATION Really to find his sound, do not look any further than the buttons, you set a few minutes and found happiness. The manual is very detailed but somewhat superfluous since the pedal is very easy to adjust. SOUND QUALITY Distortion fired up. www.delhigurgaontrophy.com/userfiles/files/canon-printers-mx700-manual.pdf

It's like a metal concert. OVERALL OPINION For six months, I tested several other pedals before you get close to if cels. The pros: The ease of adjustment, lightness. It's objectively good, it does what it should, it has enough knobs to let you play with it instead of guitar for hours. Where's the problem. {-Variable.fc_1_url-

It's fizzy, the proper tone can't be set easily (you have very short span of cool sound before the fizz appears while turning the knobs) and it's definitely not a pedal for all amps. So unless you have many of them you might be unlucky and it's not going to work with your setup. Definitely try it with your amp before you buy or at least don't use it as your first and only pedal. Send report Total features sound quality handling Perfect for metal PaulDaVinci, 03.04.2019 Boss delivers as always, high quality and durability, takes all the punishment you can dish out during a gig. It would be preferable to have a dedicated Mid control to adjust the tone even more finelly, additionally it would be nice if the distortion control had a wider range of control, from 25 and on it goes full one metal, which is nice, however after that the distortion increase has less of an impact. You might hate it but 15 dollars for a tank of a pedal and you might find you like it. Simon Neil uses one all the time. Truly proof that it's the workman not the tools. I have a mod for this which makes it a quite useable pedal. The more you increase the bass and treble, the more it cuts the mid.s so one has to keep the eq's settings as low as possible to get a big sound. Then it works great on an open sounding clean channel when needed. So if I had turned up the gain on the MD2 maybe the band would have been around longer. Brag it up to your buddies and tell them it forced you into being a better player and once you were REALLY focused it sounded amazing and took you to a whole new level of tone, but don't play it in front of them. Check the latest browser version There is one ULTIMATE rock setting, which suprisingly uses the actual distortion level at about 1. here it is Amp EQ settings ( very important because it affects how the pedal sounds ) Bass: 7 Middle: 9 Treble: 8 Pedal Settings Level: 4-5 Tone: lower knob (bass) at about 2 thirds maximum, and upper knob (treble) at about three quaters of the max Dist: about 1 or 2 Gain boost: 8-10 the gain boost acts on its own as more of a hefty overdrive, and the small amount of gain added to it helps push it into distortion, the EQ settings are important on the pedal and the amp to help the sound cut through nice n' sharp n' warm. If that thing's distortion ain't doin it for ya i kinda doubt a Boss distortion pedal will.I'll bet your local guitar center's got one, why don't you go try one out?I have a Boss DS-1 modified by Mr. Spina and it's a decent little dirt box for running into a clean amp so maybe you'd dig that. If you like the distortion your El Diablo's got but you want a little more, you'd probably be happier with a clean boost or an overdrive pedal to add a little saturation for leads. If that thing's distortion ain't doin it for ya i kinda doubt a Boss distortion pedal will. For rhythm crunch it's awesome. Try changing your strings. Seriously, night and day difference especially with this amp. Also maybe play with an EQ like Boss GE-7 to pump up some highs and upper mids. Also the compression and global attack help out a lot. I had really good luck lowering the gain and playing with the contour and attack level settings. There's a lot of hidden tones in those knobs, don't give up on that gain channel just yet. Another thing I noticed was while playing alone it was sometimes tricky to dial in what I was after. But in a live situation that El Diablo really opened up and everything I thought it was lacking was there and was cutting right through the mix. If worst comes to worst and you really want to overdrive that clean channel I'd look into an overdrive vs distortion. Also I don't know how the stock tubes react but the 6l6's I have start to break up a little in a on the clean channel when cranked. An OD pedal would really enhance that. I've also read a number of reviews saying that the amount of available gain increases with 6l6's. A new set of tubes would be a lot cheaper than a new pedal too.I have about 25 overdrive and distortion pedals, and this is the one that comes closest to doing it all. It goes well with both solid state amps and with tube amps. It gets just as heavy as the Metal Zone, but it cleans up a lot better, and it stays smooth at every setting. The 2 EQ knobs make it really easy to match with any guitar or amp you are using. I feel it effectively covers the entire spectrum of overdrive, rock distortion, and metal distortion tones. For rhythm crunch it's awesome. I've also read a number of reviews saying that the amount of available gain increases with 6l6's. A new set of tubes would be a lot cheaper than a new pedal too. He's asking for advice. Lots of people do that here. - KeithSmooth leadtones!Smooth leadtones! I bought one of these Mega Distortions for my board a few years ago.As close as you can get with a pedal of course. For example, you could automate real-time parameters such as Level and Pan, and the big JV even included a synchroniser so that you could use it with other recording systems. If there was a limitation, it lay with the 3.5-inch floppy disk drive, which served only the sequencer. This meant that, to save patches and performances, you had to record the data first as a SysEx file, and then write this to floppy disk. Actually, there was a second limitation. But these were minor niggles. It was fair to say that — five years after their competitors — Roland had finally arrived in the workstation marketplace. Despite this, or maybe because of it, the first of Roland's home organs, the Atelier AT70, was a strange hybrid of ideas. For example, its lower manual was 76-notes wide, was velocity-sensitive, and responded to a piano-style damper pedal. Unlike traditional organs, the Atelier also offered many of the rhythm and accompaniment features found on Roland's E-series accompaniment keyboards, and it even accepted Roland's existing Style cards. In addition, it included a 40,000-note sequencer. However, it didn't incorporate some expected organ facilities such as drawbars, and its sound-editing capabilities were decidedly limited. Nonetheless, there was no mistaking that the complete package was a large home organ, and it certainly packed a punch: a 240W punch, to be precise. The AT70 (which cost a hair under ?10,000) and its more affordable little brother the AT50 may not have been the most successful of Roland's instruments, but they were to spawn a dynasty that would become highly respected in its field. The initial range was fleshed out by the AT30 and the huge AT90 in 1996, and then the AT80 in 1997. There were no fewer than four new models in 1999 (the AT20R, AT60R, AT80R, and AT90R) followed by the introduction of the current range two years later.
