TO PLAY TRACKS IN RANDOM ORDER press and hold SHUF for several seconds. Press again to cancel this function. Slide one of the utility holes on the backstrap onto the support screw and fasten it with the spring washer and nut provided. Using the 5 x 25mm screw and the plain washer, secure the backstrap to the dashboard surface as shown in the diagram. Tighten, secure, and check the overall mounting to be sure it is safe and will not release in an emergency stop or other sudden movement of the vehicle. Insert screws in two such locations on each side, and tighten securely (Figure 4). NOTE: For the rear-mount installation, do not use the trim piece, backstrap or mounting case. Tom T 5.0 out of 5 stars This isn't a perfect audio type stereo this is a general budget built radio with some very nifty features. I've got my starting audio set to 12 on both cars. I can blare music when I pull into the driveway and when my boyfriend gets in to go somewhere it will be at 12. It can take a few moments (20-40 seconds) to connect to bluetooth but I suspect that is more of a protocol issue then a hardware issue and it isn't actually that big of a deal. Call quality seems fine but if you drive a big diesel truck with rattling parts and a generally loud interior you will have to repeat yourself frequently. If you drive a nice quiet Mercedes with the windows up you won't get any complaints. The buttons I guess can be weird for some people but I've gotten used to them. Price has gone up on this since my first purchase and I was still happy to purchase again without a second thought. There are a few cheaper models from the same company but I know this model is good and with a broken antenna it still picks up radio stations just fine where the stock one in my Mercedes didn't get anything but the single strongest station (which can be heard from 3-4 counties away)Was delivered on the 30th of June and as of the 27th of July Amazon states the the return time was up. Initially this weird thing happened that the volume would go all the way down by itself. That self corrected, but I have no idea why. I did email the company and they sent me a new faceplate. Then after about 3 months of working fine, it just shut off. I had driven to the store and when I got back into the car, the radio just didn't work. After about?a week I pulled it out and looked at the connections but they were all fine. So another week went by (I really didn't feel like dealing with this) when I happened to notice a reset button. I pushed it 2x, I probably held it down for over 10 seconds and then the radio just started working again. Hopefully this time for good. Otherwise, okay radio for a cheap price. Next time I'd probably shell out a little more.Easy install. There are various videos available online that'll give you the jist of it. The stereo did blow my ignition fuse but was an easy fix once I identified the problem, but beyond that I haven't had any problems since installing about a month ago. The controls are somewhat counter-intuitive and the instruction manual is worthless but they can be figured out with a little bit of experimentation. As others have noted, this won't sync with an iphone via the usb port but works fine over Bluetooth, and there's an auxiliary jack that would work as well via any headphones port. Android works fine both ways, and there's an app available that'll replicate basic controls. Also includes a physical remote control.Then worked intermittently, then would adjust the volume on its own, then just died. For forty bucks oh well, but now I need to remove it and replace. PITA. Would have rather spent more and done it once.I would like for there to be an option to be able to show the clock all the time. I had purchased 2 of these radios but after installing one in my wifes jeep and so many issue with it I sent the other one back and haven't been able to resell the other one. Not worth the time and hassle I ended up buying a used factory radio for the jeep and putting that in and that only cost my 40 bucks and works better than this thing did.And after a while it wouldn't even work, it would turn off by itself, the volume knob wouldn't turn down the radio, only turn it up.
